Government should provide free school buses

The purpose of writing this essay is to inform the importance of providing free school busses to the students by our Malaysian government. As we all know, the bus has subsequently become a major mode of transportation despite of cars, motorcycles and other vehicles, particularly for transporting children to school. More children must be entitled to free transport to take them to schools and our government should take this matter into consideration. Some of the students who attend far schools and live within one or more miles away of the school do not receive free bus transportation. Therefore, they rarely can go to schools and some even quit from attending schools because they cannot afford to pay the bus costs. Hence, all the children who are eligible to free transportation to and from school because they live one miles away, or in an area which is approved as perilous routes like rural areas in every states of our country, should be notified of the free busses by our Malaysian government. The government should take initiative to study and make any amendment if possible because they have to consider that no students should be prevented from going to school of their choices simply because of travel costs that can only affect their academic achievement.
First thing first, those students who come from high-income families do not have any transportation problems because for them money is not a big problem. However, the poorer ones will find difficulty in paying the bus fees because they do not have enough money even to their daily fulfillment. Nowadays, free bus places are now allocated according to where families live rather than their economic status. All children who live more than three miles from their school have the right to a free bus place. One attempt that the government should do is giving subsidies school busses that will be free for all pupils receiving free school meals.Owing to that all of these students come from unfortunate families. By doing so, it will give benefits to all not just for students but also to the school academic achievement because the students have been encouraged to go to schools with an easy way and do not have any obstacles along their ways to schools.
Government should provide free school buses in school, when we look in certain way, providing school buses for students are important in order to ensure the safety of the students. Essentially, school buses are the safest forms of school transportation for children. Compared with cars or transit buses, school buses are involved in significantly fewer accidents, injuries, and fatalities. Students who live far from school or who live in rural area, sometime will have problem to get a public bus or other transportation to school especially in the morning because at that time, all people rush for their own destination and the students might not have chances to ride the transportation. Same goes to students who are not wealth, they can not afford to take public transportation and they tend to walk to school even though they live far from school. Children especially the younger ones, have normally not yet developed the mental capacity to fully embrace the danger and consequences of crossing safety without adult supervision. A child cannot legally be held accountable for negligence for this reason. By providing free school buses, the students do not have to use other transportation to school and in the same time the parents will not be worry about their children’s safety. School bus safety officials are aware that many accidents occurred when traffic was not aware that the hazard existed, and children on foot were hit by other vehicles. The standardized yellow color helped and warning lettering was painted in large letters on school buses. Several devices were developed to help school bus drivers warn other motorists. Providing free school buses for students not only to ascertain their safety on the road but in the other hand, it will avoid them from any other possibilities and problems like kidnapping, raping or murdering that involve the students.
Furthermore, punctuality of the students is one of the reasons why government should provide free school buses. Nowadays, most parents are working to give better education and style of living for their children. They tend to have less time to spend with their children. The lack of time make them cannot send their children to school, thus the children need to walk if they want to go to school. Walking to school will take lengthy time than driving. So, this will make the students being not punctual to enter classes. If, working parents send their children to school, same thing will be happen. They will send their children a bit late because of times cramp. Therefore, if the government provides free school bus, it will be easy for the parents and the children because the parents do not need to send their children to school and the children will not be late to come to school.
In conclusion, government should provide free school buses because to ensure the safety of the students, to help poor students and to make sure the students are punctual to come to school. Moreover, it will not be a waste if the government provides free school buses because it is for our own benefits too. When the student’s safety is in control, the number of crime or kidnapped can be reduce. Nevertheless, for the poor students who live far away from their school, they can have an opportunity to go to school if the government provides free school buses since they do not need to pay the fee for transportation. So, the government can create an environment where everybody has an opportunity to study even they are from poor family. We are living in modern country so the opportunity to study for everybody should be equal. Government cannot focus only for the high class people only, they need to consider about lower class people too. Since, free text book and fee for school are provided, why can’t the government provide free school buses because a lot of benefits can be gain from it. Therefore, government should provide free school buses for the need of the students.

Women in Islam

Rights That Islam Gives to Women
Human Rights
Islam considers a woman to be equal to a man as a human being and as his partner in this life. Women have been created with a soul of the same nature as man’s. Allah (SWT) says in the Quran:
"O mankind! Be dutiful to your Lord, Who created you from a single person (Adam), and from him (Adam) He created his wife (Eve), and from them both He created many men and women and fear Allah through Whom you demand your mutual (rights), and (do not cut the relations of) the wombs (kinship). Surely, Allah is Ever and All-Watcher over you." (Al-Nisa 4:1)
And in the words of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW),
"Assuredly, women are the twin halves of men." (Sahih reported by Abu-Dawud (RA)
Islam does not blame Eve alone for the First Sin. The Quran makes it very clear that both Adam and Eve were tempted, that they both sinned and were both forgiven after their repentance. Allah (SWT) says in the Quran:
"Then Satan whispered suggestions to them both in order to uncover that which was hidden from them of their private parts (before); he said: "Your Lord did not forbid you this tree save you should become angels or become of the immortals." And he (Satan) swore by Allah to them both (saying): "Verily, I am one of the sincere well-wishers for you both." So he mislead them with deception. Then when they tasted of the tree, that which was hidden from them of their shame (private parts) became manifest to them and they began to stick together the leaves of Paradise over themselves (in order to cover their shame). And their Lord called out to them (saying): "Did I not forbid you that tree and tell you: Verily, Satan is an open enemy unto you?" They said: "Our Lord! We have wronged ourselves. If You forgive us not, and bestow not upon us Your Mercy, we shall certainly be of the losers." (Allah) said: "Get down, one of you an enemy to the other (i.e. Adam, Eve, and Satan, etc.). On earth will be a dwelling-place for you and an enjoyment, - for a time." He said: "Therein you shall live, and therein you shall die, and from it you shall be brought out (i.e. resurrected)."(Al-A’raf 7:20-25)
In Islamic law a woman is an independent, unique individual in her own right. She has the same responsibilities towards herself, towards Allah (SWT) and towards other human beings as the male, and will be punished or rewarded in the Hereafter without discrimination towards her female gender.
Civil Rights
There is no compulsion in religion according to the Quran:
"There is no compulsion in religion. Verily, the Right Path has become distinct from the wrong path. Whoever disbelieves in Taghut [anything worshipped other then the Real God (Allah)] and believes in Allah, then he has grasped the most trustworthy handhold that will never break. And Allah is All-Hearer, All-Knower."(Al-Baqarah 2:256)
A Muslim woman is not permitted to change her family name to her husband’s name upon marriage. She is always known by her father’s name, as a mark of her own identity. In choosing a marriage partner, her consent to accept or reject any prospective suitor for marriage must be respected. A Muslim woman has the right to seek divorce, if necessary within the laws of Islam.

Untuk Tatapan Wanita

FAKTOR MERENDAHKAN MARTABAT SEORANG WANITA

1) Lupa mengingat Allah

city nowadays

I have a story to share with. I was in Shah Alam last weekend to meet my old friends. I stayed in her hostel and we went out the last two days. We went to Plaza Alam Central and I was shocked with the environment there. I went to the 'surau' to perform my prayer which is in the fifth floor. When I was there, I felt so terribled seeing that 'surau'. It was so small and I could see only few people there. The surrounding was so terrible and I am sure if all of you have been there before, you would definitely feel the same. I felt quite depressed with it but I know that I could nothing. What I can say; city life! city life! We as muslims are still not aware about thing likes that and just keep close our eyes. We all can not predict our future and who knows somedays we will be like Palestin. I am sure nobody wants it. So let us change our mind, protect our Islam religion because it is the only truth religion which is said in Al-quran.

Woman as a raped victim

Nowadays we can see a lot of rape cases in media mass. These are the fenomena that we are facing in our community. Are we going to see the women's future life be destroyed by all the culprit men who behave worser than an animal. For them, women are the symbols of sex, luss and enjoyment. They do not realised who has brought them to this world; they come from the women's womb.Their mothers are women and what they will feel if one of their family members been raped by others. I am sure that they are going to be suffered. Therefore, I urge all the people especially men, appreciate and respect women in their life. Without women, they are going to be alone because women are the happiness in life.

Teacher's biases

The most common ethical problem that any teacher will face at some point in time is the bias-free assessment of students. Teachers are supposed to create a learning environment that fosters autonomy and guides students in their learning experience. An important part of their work is evaluation of students' knowledge and progress. Without such an assessment, one cannot determine if the learning is taking place. And this is one of the most problematic areas of the job. But what does a “to assess a student” mean? Teachers will apply a set of rules and predefined formulas to measure the amount of knowledge that has been successfully retained by students or perhaps they will check the understanding of a problem being considered. In multiple choice tests or “yes or no” questions as well as many other similar tests calling for a single correct answer, the assessment of students' work seems relatively uncomplicated. The gray area begins to surface when teachers have to use their own judgment in the assessment process and contaminate the very process with subjectivity that they are bound to produce. As much as people would like to eliminate injustices of this world and turn it into a better place, they will always have their own biases and prejudices, with which they will never be able to part. Teachers (fortunately or not) are human beings too and are no exception to this rule. Laws and regulations may control human behavior or modify it if necessary, but they will never make people like one another. One must remember that both students and teachers come to the classroom with their own sets of values, personalities, priorities, feelings, emotions, problems, experiences, knowledge, understanding, abilities, upbringing, likes and dislikes, moods, and hundreds of other elements, which when combined make up an individual as a whole.

Unhealthy Attachments Lead to Unhappy Results

I will be the first to admit that every time I have formed unhealthy attachments in life, it has invariably led to trouble! Trouble such as resentment, fear, anger, discouragement, low self-esteem, and limiting beliefs, which all seem to be the potential result of unhealthy attachments! One day, I just got frustrated enough to say, “I’ve had it, I’m sick and tired of the disappointments,” and started to explore what it would be like to live a life free of these upsets.
When we feel like we’ve been rejected or our goals remain unrealized, we can become discouraged and think something out there in the world is holding us back, doesn’t want us to succeed, doesn’t think we’re good enough to be paid for our talents, etc. Because our desired results were not produced, at least that is the illusion, we become a victim. Eventually we give up on the hopes and dreams we’ve had because victims just can’t win.

16-year-old boy held over bid to extort money

PETALING JAYA: Police arrested a 16-year-old youth yesterday morning in connection with the abduction of Sharlinie Mohd Nashar.
He had demanded RM5,000 together with RM200 pre-paid top-up from Sharlinie's father, Mohd Nashar Mat Hussain, through several phone calls.Selangor Criminal Investigation Department chief Senior Assistant Commissioner II Mazlan Mansor said the youth was detained after Nashar lodged a police report on the matter. He was remanded for four days to facilitate investigations. Evidence in connection with the case was also seized from the suspect.Mazlan said the youth had made several calls to Nashar over the past few days with the demands.

my comment:
how come this 16-year-old boy did such things?he was trying to fool police, Sharlinie's family and also other people. Hoping that this incident will be a lesson to public for not doing that thing again. In my opinion, parents should always keep an eye on their kids so that their children will be under their control. For those who are involved in Sharlinie's case please be patient and always pray to God and someday we will find Sharlinie in a very good condition and harmless.
